You have to clock in and out when you arrive and when you leave and on your lunch break! Ridiculous, we are professionals! Also, the benefits are expensive for the employee contribution, and you have to wait literally YEARS to receive any profit sharing from them in your profit sharing account (which is their version of a 401k). Benefits could be so much better compared to other large law firms.

Like many big law firms, Blank Rome has developed into a fiefdom, where each department is like its own country - there is very little collaboration between the departments and departments are loath to refer a client to another department less that department "steal" the client.
