In the industry of property management where it's sometimes hard to stay sane between deadlines, ownership requests, resident concerns, and maintenance emergencies, BT (Blanton Turner) does a fantastic job in building a sense of camaraderie among its employees that helps to boost morale and to share resources. Health, PTO, and career development benefits are fantastic!

Typically there are no incentives to live on-site. While this encourages employees to maintain a better work/life balance, it is much less convenient for maintenance emergencies and to

-I found everyone to be friendly and supportive -Benefits are pretty good. Medical/Dental/Vision 100% paid for, start with 16 PTO days and can accrue one additional day every year (capping at 26), matches 100% for 401k up to 4%. -Very not corporate culture, pretty casual dress code

Cons

The biggest downside is they do not pay as well as competitors, so I had left when I received an offer that was too good to turn down. My department was very small and did not really have much of a hierarchy or opportunities for advancement.

Booze. The only good person who...bless his heart doesn't know much about the importance of some of his employees and relies on the word of other inefficient management...is the one true blessing of the of the company. Barry Blanton is an amazing CEO and cares about everybody but unfortunately not the final decision maker on your employment future.

Cons

Good luck understanding what the management wants. You try to give them what they want...and then they tell you that's not what they were looking for while firing you and not giving you a chance to fix it...
