Being able to work with some of the most creative staff members bring out the best in you as an employee and pushes you to bring forth your best work. Work in new media can sometimes feel unfulfilling but working at Blavity you get do work that serves the community in which you’re from and seeing the impact of that work reinforces the reason why we do what we do.

I started working with Blavity as a summer intern in 2015. I went on to join the team full time as a marketing manager a year later. Two years later I was promoted to GM. Working at Blavity has been an amazing opportunity for career development and mentorship. The great thing about working at Blavity is you get the chance to work across many different functions and departments within the company. Management is very committed to seeing you succeed and every project is a huge learning opportunity. I don't think I would have been able to grow my career at this pace anywhere else. The company is making a huge impact on culture and it's beyond inspiring to be apart of building that.
