Pros

Have huge market potential on both merchant and consumer side with a long list of financial products and services that could be possible with the two-sided business model.

Cons

Jack was hand-off from this company for a while and the bottom up culture turned really bad with a lot of politics.

Pros

It is very fun to work for such a startup company. Even though the company grows over 1000+ employee now, you still have lots of chances to make the impacts as an individual. There are also lots of bottom-up ideas become company's strategies. It will be hard to imaging about the company's transparency until you joined. It is a fantastic culture. One last thing i wish to highlight is the Food~ Compared with lots of free cafeteria among those bay area companies, Square's food is super good~!

Cons

Growth too fast is a pain, even the managers in Square are still learning and growing.
