Thank you for taking the time to leave a review and for choosing to work with Block by Block. The "T" Ambassador does all their work outside of the transit booth. We are there to provide help and hospitality to visitors and riders of the "T." (Subway) Yes, sitting is against the rules of this contract. The purpose of the Transit Ambassadors is hospitality first, which means that you are standing and waiting for riders that need help with ticketing or directions. Sitting in the booth does not encourage the ridership to interact and see how friendly Boston is. There are two breaks and a 30 minute lunch in an 8 hr. period.
