Pros

Company is genuinely able to deliver technology capabilities that many shinier startups promise, but aren't able to deploy successfully.

Cons

Large company, and achieving the above - requiring very broad range of functions - means there's no way around bureaucracy. Different parts of organization have distinct cultures, and cooperation between them can be chaotic. Knowing the overall company dynamic is not as important as knowing the culture of the team you're joining, and knowing that your team's lead will have your back. Mine does, and I've had a good experience.
