Pros

Compensation Benefits Work/Life Balance Team (depends on your product and manager) Really fair compensation and amazing benefits. You get an automatic allotment of your PTO days on your start date and the 401k match is really good. You are rewarded for hitting goals/targets which is reflected fairly in your bonus and compensation conversations are transparent. At least for my team within the Analytics and Sales umbrella (albeit a bit more specialized) you leave your work at work and have a pretty good work/life balance. There are times when it gets really busy especially towards quarter end but any holiday or weekend work is given back to you as time off. Great people who are hard working and smart as well!

Cons

WFH flexibility Career Advancement Technical Upskill (depends on role and department) Metric standard Not a lot of WFH or Hybrid flexibility. Wanted us to get back to the office as soon as possible which makes sense as BB is very client oriented as a business; however it’s been proven that WFH works and you don’t really need to be in the office to do your job (tougher on the newer hires going through training though). There is a set career path to account manager for the trade desk role but there are cases of people moving to a team lead (manager) or other departments but they are few. This job isn’t very technical, mainly more so focused on how the terminal and product works for clients and to troubleshoot any issues. Not a lot of analysis or technical skills being developed and more so focused on customer service which is the main job function for this role (cold calling, help desk function, etc). Very numbers based and emphasis on meeting your goals including how many clients you’re calling, interacting with, etc. I personally wanted something more technical but at least the comp/benefits were good. Great place to dip your feet in the business world but not heavily focused on technicals.
