Great place to work, modest pay

Pros

Great people, fun projects, excellent culture. During my time at the Marlborough branch, I worked with very knowledgeable people who were always willing to lend a hand or play a quick game of hackysack. Biweekly technical content shares were great for developing skills and learning new technologies. Bloomy provided excellent training, mentorship, and certification exam preparation.

Cons

Pay was okay but not competitive with similar companies. Ultimately left this position to work at a company not too far away doing similar work, for just about double the salary.

Great small company vibe Fast paced environment Wide variety of projects to broaden your experiences Great balance of customer interaction and technical work

Cons

Most engineers are off on their own working directly with customers This leads to minimal tribal knowledge since many best practices are not shared among team members Bonus system is bogus Lacks good business processes for making consulting profitable

Pros

Most coworkers are very intelligent and great problem solvers, you will learn a lot working with them. MA office management is excellent. Good benefits for a small company. Fast paced environment, employees are always exposed to new problems/projects/fields etc...

Cons

Work hours are rather inflexible. Bonus is not all it's cracked up to be. Not much room for upward mobility.
