Horrible continuing education polocies. No genuine encouragement to grow indivudial knowledge. Employees are required to use PTO when attending conferences, multi-day traings etc. There is no reward for cerification achievement. The company seems to have a high amount of "industry jumpers", who are fluent in industry buzz words and catch pharses. The company itself promotes mid managers describing people as "seasoned" or "technical" Both extremely vague and non descript. Recruting will tell you anything to get you through the door.

Hard to get them to approve training - they wanted you to use your vacation days to do training that would directly benefit your work at the company. Not a lot of opportunity outside of the federal consulting space. Once you are on one client, hard to get any work on another one.
