Pros

The pay is good. Starts out with four weeks of paid vacation. Like 10-14 days of company holidays. You get to work in a space program.

Cons

The organization's leadership structure is top heavy and is clueless to what the workers are doing and why (from the president down to the managers and directors). Promotions and awards are primarily handed out by pushing through a schedule milestone early, regardless of the downstream consequences or if things are being done right. Many of the engineers are either lazy, incompetent, and/or liars that won't take responsibility for their actions or in-actions. There is no real job security. Human resources (as with most places) is completely useless.

Pros

Opportunity to work on any number of high tech space products Peers are smart and highly collaborative

Cons

Highest performers are not compensated, basically everyone gets the same pay and raises Latest hiring phase tripled the company size. This is conjecture, but it feels like the culture is moving more towards a generic tech company than a targeted get it done engineering team.
