      Great company historically, experiencing Boeing leadership/culture shift

      Pros

      Great pay, work life balance has been great, most employees have a great passion for the mission, empowered employees, and great diversity and inclusion focus.

      Cons

      Recently there has been an influx of ex-Boeing leaders, who bring with them an abrasive management style that sometimes lacks respect for employees as people. Cross functional collaboration toward a common goal has turned into finger-pointing and defensiveness. There has been significant churn in the organization structure, leaving individual contributors and managers searching for role clarity.

      Pros

      I’ve worked across the industry and in tech for 15 years. This place has an influx of money, smart engineers, and the worst management / lack of prioritization I’ve ever seen. The RTO backlash in 2021 proved how little this place respects even senior employees and how the exec team imparts rules without intent to ever lead by example (lives full time in Arizona, demands employees work in Kent daily with no exceptions- multiple examples including the leader of the entire RTO team).

      Cons

      Not a single woman in a technical executive role. Culture. I’ve worked in several competitors, start ups, giant Boeing and all were immeasurably better culture wise.
