Pros

The pay is great but the promotions and raises are super bad.

Cons

Everything else. The company has WAY too many controlling documents, the last thing that Blue needs to do is to create more "Plans". The techs should outnumber the Managers, Sr. Managers, Directors and Sr. Directors 30:1, at this point in time there is a 2:3 ratio of assembly technicians to people with Director in their title. If you have an opinion about 1 of the 17 tools that Blue uses and you are critical of it in any way shape or form you will be treated as an enemy of the state and be hung out too dry. There are so many acronyms most people can't get through a 'wiki" page, company memo or presentation. The canned response when you ask for help is "did you check the wiki", which is like the Blue home page. The problem is there are a million wiki pages and most of the information is out of date and there is ZERO control over the information. Additionally, it's impossible to find controlled documents because there are so many approved repositories such as: SVN, Windchill, DEX, DOORs, DOORs NexGen and on the GD wiki! How this place has an AS9100 certification is beyond me. When I give people tours every single person asks "where are the workers", that's a problem. It's so bad I don't help friends get jobs anymore, it's doing them a disservice.

Pros

Large budget and access to cool development tech

Cons

So many "moonshot" hires with large egos. People are more focused on their voices being heard in a meeting than actually accomplishing something. Lots of overhead and bureaucracy results in feeling stressed even when the development pace is infuriatingly slow.
