Pros

Blue Signal has created a unique and powerful infrastructure that enables me and every employee to build their desks and businesses in a way that makes the most sense for our unique talents and interests. So often at other firms, you are put in a box that may or may not align to your career goals and objectives. At Blue Signal, I truly feel I get to take ownership of my own desk and outcomes in a way that is rewarding both financially and personally.

Cons

I don't think many of the recruiters have seen the structure and setup at other recruiting firms. Because of that, there can be a lack of appreciation for the truly collaborative team environment that exists here. No cut-throat colleagues, no vindictive leaders, no pressure to be unethical in your approach. The values of Blue Signal really do get put on display daily and shine brightest when working together as a team. Be excellent, do the right thing, and help others. I don't think people realize how rare it is to find a recruiting firm that walks that walk.

Be Prepared to Grind

Pros

You can potentially make a lot of money if you are successful.

Cons

You really have to grind if you want a fighting chance at a decent income since you are basically fully on commission.

Thank you for your feedback! We agree, and state regularly, that recruiting is a tough job that definitely requires a grind. A typical 40-hour work week is not typically what recruiters experience, especially for those who expect to make this type of job into a lucrative career. Blue Signal encourages hard work, but also prioritizes work-life balance by allowing recruiters unlimited time off, flexibility, and autonomy in planning their day. At Blue Signal, we believe your success is your own to create. If you ever feel you need more support, please do not hesitate to reach out to your manager or your People & Culture team!

Great Company, Incredible Culture

Pros

Incredible Culture. Truly a company where it is designed to work together, and not compete against each other. Unlimited Compensation Package for recruiters. Recruiters are not silo-ed here - they can truly recruit in any industry and any location.

Cons

This recruiting firm is mostly true headhunting (not necessarily a bad thing). They don't have a mountain of resumes to call from like the bigger recruiting firms out there. If that is you though, the commission structure is better than most if not all firms out there.
