Pros

Fun and engaging atmosphere! The CEO (who is one of the nicest guys you'll ever meet) and upper management is very nice and the metrics are pretty achievable if you have enough roles to fill. Unlimited PTO was super nice even though you stay so busy I couldn't in good conscious take it. I was working 10-12 hour days and weekends. Not great work life balance. Fully remote which was really nice!! The training was also really great and lunch and learns every Wednesday. Overall its a wonderful place to work if you are one of two types, young and single and willing to work your nuts off for 18 months to get ramped up or an established recruiter who also has their own accounts to run.

Cons

The starting salary is 40k and its a draw. The jobs to fill really aren't well distributed and it can be very challenging to actually get a commission check. Especially when roles are taking 2-3 months to fill. HR said there were other compensation options but when I asked my manager about it they weren't offered. 40k for an adult with a family is ridiculous. Not applicable to me, but there is also only 2 weeks of maternity leave unless you take FMLA and no benefits besides health, 401k, and the pto.

Thank you so much for sharing your feedback with us. You are right that it does take a lot of hard work and dedication to be a successful recruiter! Blue Signal believes in transparency and throughout the interview and training process with new recruiters, the time and commitment expectations are fully addressed, on multiple occasions. Our CEO also speaks to the expectations during every weekly company meeting. Additionally, the options to change compensation structure do exist! Please touch base with the HR team directly if you are wanting to make a change and we can discuss further. Currently, Blue Signal is not a large enough organization to qualify for FMLA. The company has developed policies surrounding time off. If you are in need of any time off beyond typical PTO, please contact HR regarding your options.

High-paced growing company. Massive opportunity to earn and succeed if you can enbrace (and execute) an owner's mentality. Wonderful culture with a great leader and lots of driven professionals.

Cons

Mostly remote model (if that's even a con)
