Pros

The group of people that I work with are fantastic. I feel supported and encouraged by this firm. Upper management is accessible and listens. The work-life balance is realistic and encouraged. I truly believe that there are people that have been put in place to help continue to improve our processes and client service.

Cons

There is currently not a consistent standard of processes amongst all locations. (To Blue's credit though, this is actively being worked on at the moment.)

Pros

Tax season is long hours and hard work, at times. When you work those many hours during tax season you want to feel like the Company and Directors appreciate your work in words and in compensation. I can confirm at Blue & Co. your hard work and all the hours are very much appreciated in both aspects.

Cons

The long hours during tax season are exhausting and tiresome as it would be for any CPA firm during tax season; however, I can honestly say I've never been pressured to get more and more billable hours by upper management. As long as the projects are moving at a good pace and projects are not getting behind then the billable hours will take care of themselves and will always be there to get consistently during tax season.
