Pros

Working with kids and families. The techs seem to really care about the kids. Decent salaries.

Cons

Senior management is inexperienced and largely ineffective, unorganized and/or unprofessional. Mid-management spends their time stepping on each other to be seen to get ahead instead of working collaboratively. The C-Suite seems more interested in acquiring companies than providing a good experience and work/life balance for current employees. Too much flip-flopping on procedures which change by the hour/day/week. Many of the management components are run by clinicians who do not have the education or experience in business, operations, developing people and training and it shows. Employees are asked to wear too many hats, many of which they are not qualified to wear, and are spread thin. They seem to value employees who stroke their egos versus those who are doing good work. Not sure they have gotten out of their early start-up phase and it's affecting morale and the progress of the clients. Huge communication gap between the field and headquarters. Bonus structure is changed often making it nearly impossible to achieve. The company values sound great and are quoted often but aren't truly followed. A lot of smoke and mirrors.

Pros

I met a lot of nice co-workers

Cons

Management doesn’t care about you at all, they’re very rude and treat you like less than them. They are little to no help with clients, but will blame you for the downfalls. Don’t Disagree with your supervisors or you’ll then see the obvious favoritism in the office, and you will be treated very poorly and talked to like a child. They seem to care very little about the actual clients, more so about collecting the money from the clients.

Great cause & Mission but misguided leadership

Pros

Clinicians and RBTs are passionate about the care they provide. Good people in the clinics.

Cons

Exec Leadership is overwhelmingly focused on growth at the expense of employee satisfaction. They talk about caring for the children but their true concern is growth of the company. They only want to open more locations and bring on more clients. They offer incentives for bringing on clients. In the clinics, we want to serve the demand and need with quality care while leadership only wants quantity. We shouldn’t get an incentive for starting treatment of X-number of kids in a month. Leadership does not engage or involve staff with any decisions. Clinic staff are not valued. No annual merit increases! They talk about profit sharing but so many clinics aren’t profiting enough for staff to attain anything. Leadership is out of touch and is very self absorbed.
