Pros

Everyone at the company is focused on helping the client and the family achieve the vision they have for their child's best life. There are fantastic support resources for RBT training, an amazing intern program, free CEUs for BCBAs, and forward thinking, ethical practices that put the clients' rights first. The company strives to provide the best services out there and has clinical support positions and review teams to help with more challenging cases. The company adopts a philosophy of "psychological safety" for all employees, making it a very comfortable and supportive place to work. The company embodies diversity, equity, and inclusion. Benefits and pay are competitive. The company is always growing and there are lots of opportunities for advancement from within.

Cons

As a side effect of being innovative and willing to look at whether things can be done better, there is more change at this company than most other ABA companies. A person who struggles with changes (even when positive), may have a hard time with that.

Pros

Everyone truly cares for the kids Team members are friendly and very helpful Great training is provided for starting out as a BT

Cons

Scheduling is a nightmare!! I was not contacted if client's called in. I would show up and have to wait without getting payed for my next client. The communication is terrible. You will be scheduled from 7:45 to 6:30pm with a 30 min lunch break. Schedules are never updated until the day of or the night before. OM's make mistakes and put the blame on someone else. If you work here you need to be strict with your schedule and availability. If you are nice or have open availability they will take advantage of you. The expectations for session notes are very high and the requirement is too long for the pay and time you are given. They will have you in long sessions ( I had a kid for 8 hours with a 30 min break). The work day is very long or you have two hour gaps between your schedule. There is no work life balance. You are put with new kids without any training even if that child requires additional support. The BCBA are always really busy and are doing their best they can to provide supervision but it is still not enough. More employees are needed in order to make this clinic more successful but the company needs to provide a higher pay or some type of greater incentive than "blue bucks" and "sunshines" or "shoutouts." They need to have smaller caseloads and pay employees more for what they do.

Thank you for your feedback! It’s important to us that we are providing an environment where we are not only helping our clients but also supporting our team members along the way and helping them grow in their profession. Our goal is to make sure no one feels burnt out, but we understand that schedule needs may change over time. We continuously work on ways to provide our employees with incentives for their hard work and dedication to BlueSprig and we are happy to note that we currently have multiple benefits in place for our employees. For employee breaks, we comply with all federal regulations to ensure our employees are receiving the breaks they need. We frequently request feedback from employees to see what we can do to enhance the workplace culture and truly appreciate your insight on these pieces. We will continue to follow up and follow through on all feedback and thank you for your time!
