Avoid the ABA Titan

Pros

Opportunity for BCBA students to earn fieldwork hours.

Cons

The company cares more about expanding and taking over smaller companies than employee welfare or client outcomes. One of the stated values is “Ask Why and Why Not”. And yet, if you ask why company policies are one way, there is pushback from management on daring to ask questions. As an employee of another company that was “merged” with BlueSprig, we were expected to conform to new policies without question.

Thank you for your comments! We always want to know how things are going; as you mentioned, we do a lot of surveys, for instance. It's a bit disappointing to hear that you don't feel safe to offer your questions and comments. We see ourselves as low on hierarchy and high on collaboration, but if there are pockets where there might be a breakdown, feel free to email us at hr@bluesprigpediatrics.com. We're always ready to work with teams to resolve missed opportunities to live our values and come out of those discussions stronger and even better focused on our mission. Again, thank you for your comments here, and thank you for all you do to change the world for children with autism.

Pros

Quality over quantity approach! Blue sprig tells their story well and it reflects in their mission and values. The Culture PTO ( no burnout) Opportunity for growth They actually care about their people

Cons

Being a new company, roles and responsibilities can change often . This isn't a con for me as I love change. But if you are someone who needs a "tasky" position. This problem isn't the company for you.

Pros

BlueSprig is a company that truly embodies their mission statement and core values. BlueSprig is the most efficient ABA company I’ve ever worked for and they use state-of-the-art technology for data collection, staff performance evaluations, and have one of the most personable and caring corporate leadership teams I’ve ever had the please of working with. BlueSprig is an incredible company and I would encourage anyone that wants to change the world for children with autism to apply.

Cons

BlueSprig is a relatively new ABA company and while they are a pretty well oiled machine, they’ve got a lot to figure out in terms of getting each clinic operating consistently across the board. But I think those are things that will get settled as the company continues to grow and they figure out what works the best for each location
