Pros

Clinic team is great. Good benefits.

Cons

Lack of holidays. DCS and DOM are not strong leaders. The facility is outdated and they will not give up adequate materials for the clients.

Thank you for helping us change the world for children with autism! We are thrilled to know you are enjoying the benefits we offer! Just this year, we started a new PTO accrual plan, added three extra floating holidays to use when it is the most meaningful for you. We strive to support our teams as much as possible and would love to learn more about your experience so we can resolve it and ensure everyone is on a level playing field - please reach out to hr@bluesprigpediatrics.com so we can help support you. Thank you!

No Incentive for BCBAs

Pros

Good staff Clients are a join to work with Good ethics

Cons

Bluesprig was an admirable company when I first started working for them. I loved their values, their ethics, and their mission to change the world for children autism. Having come from previous ABA companies, BlueSprig went above and beyond to make sure clients are happy and safe and getting the best quality of care. In the last several years changes have occurred that have just sent the company in a downward spiral. Like any corporate company, BlueSprig appears to only care about how to become more profitable. They enacted many changes that negatively affect those who are actually providing direct care in the field. As of 2023 they took away any incentive for BCBAs to bill. The previous bonus structure was a huge incentive for BCBAs to work hard to make sure they are seeing their clients and providing the necessary services that clients need and staff need. They provided the option of a $200, $300, and $400 bonus per pay period based on billing hours. This is a huge incentive that pushed all of us to work hard, see our clients, and be there for our staff. Since then it is almost impossible to me even the lowest bonus structure that we were previously earning. BCBAs have practically taken a pay cut in 2023 from the previous years. In a field where we all know behavior goes where reinforcement flows, BlueSprig does not stand behind that notion. As I’ve seen since this change, BCBAs are not pushing to see clients or staff because their bonus is out of their hands to earn. It is now primarily based on clients showing up, staff showing up, and operations ensuring that there are plans in place for frequent call offs. This creates animosity in the workplace as BCBAs are frustrated at not earning a bonus based on frequent call offs of client and staff and operations not putting policies and procedures into place to prevent this. It seems as though corporate only cares about changing the world for themselves by filling their pockets while those who are actually working to change the world for children’s autism are not at all reinforced

Thank you for your feedback. We work diligently to collaborate with every employee but understand that there are always opportunities for improvement. While we understand the "red tape" may be lengthy, it is important that we follow all industry standards and provide the highest quality ABA therapy services possible. We genuinely appreciate your insight on these pieces to help better identify ways to enhance our workplace culture. We will continue to find ways to make our processes more efficient so our employees can continue doing what they love! We would love to discuss with you to identify ways to ensure each employee has a positive experience. Please reach out to us at hr@bluesprigpediatrics.com, we would love to hear your feedback.
