Money is great during winter months which is sometimes hard to find, daytime serving hour so you don't have to disrupt your sleep schedule. Free food on shift

Cons

Management can be a real helicopter, even if you've had tons of experience.

*It's a good place to start if this is your first barista/serving job *Co-workers are nice *Flexible scheduling *Nice area with really good tips sometimes *The food is good and healthy *Chelsea Piers is a nice area

Cons

*Very high turnover rate *Training is very quick and not hands-on. Expected to understand a lot in a short amount of time *Very limited staff menu *Not a high amount of pay for the high amount of work we're expected to do *Last-minute schedule switches *Increasing amount of responsibilities with no room for growth *A LOOOOOOOOT of favoritism towards the Hispanic staff at Chelsea Piers. If you aren't Latino, expect to get treated worse and have more responsibilities dumped on you.
