Pros

If you love working with patients, which I did, Since Mercy Health bought Bon Secour’s all benefits have disappeared as well as as patient care due to being understaffed & paid. I would definitely look into all healthcare organizations before making your decision.

Cons

Health insurance, Pay , Management

Pros

Christian organization, medical insurance, access to resources of a large hospital system

Cons

Company won’t spend money on things that need to be replaced that effect patient care. The reason they give is “being good stewards of resources.” They don’t invest in their employees and you feel like a number.

Pros

Love that it’s a ministry-based system that sees patients regardless of ability to pay

Cons

Management tends to be reactive rather than proactive. A lot of turnover and a lot of poor communication/disrepect from supervisors
