      Working at Bon Secours Health was a challenge but I loved my co-workers!

      Pros

      Dedicated staff with a well publicized and practiced mission to provide good help to those in need. The majority of staff have a very strong work ethic. Wonderful focus on adapting to outside changes and technology.

      Cons

      Not all of management (and by default, some of their staff, bought into new program rollouts on a timely basis which caused duplication of efforts in training, etc. Management participates in daily meetings which often results in staff not having daily access to management if they need something.

      A horrible place for new grad nurses....very unethical and immoral operating under religious hypocrisy....

      All units are very cliquish....if you don't believe as they do they will find a way to get rid of you. Bullying is rampant within this organization and nurses are treated like crap, if your a CNA or tech your treated even worse. They are always dangerously understaffed so that the hospital can make a profit. Physicians are treated like Gods and can do whatever they want to whomever they want. I worked in ICU and the goal there was to actually get family member to sign DNRs so that if the patient crashed no life saving measures would need to be done....that means none of the fat ass older nurses would have to get up and do anything....reassuring isn't it. Stay away from this company unless you really like discrimination and being made to feel like garbage daily.
