Good company, Overworked Department
Pros
As a company Bon Secours legitimately cares for their employees. With different wellness programs, outstanding benefits, and exceptional pay. It is a company that I believe anyone can feel comfortable in and grow if they come in and desire to grow.
Cons
The company is going through many changes since they recently merged with Mercy Health System. Although salary and benefits are not changing at this time there is a lot of uncertainty within the company as to what will change and what stays the same. This has caused many long time employees to jump ship. In my specific position there is a ton of turnover, which leads to many feeling overworked and under appreciated. The financial department seems to be the entry way for many that want a job with this organization and after about 6 months they are off to a new area. So be prepared for many changes and turnover if you are coming into the organization at this time.
