Management is the worse! Never worked for a hospital where your manager doesn't even try to defend you even though they agree that you were correct. Still got written up and put on 365 day 3rd warning. You also see A lot of favoritism. You are asked to do your job and when you do you get reprimanded for it even with proof. Advice and counsel does not care and will take Managers opinion over yours even after showing proof. This is why they are losing a lot of their staff. If a manager is in trouble by their CNO be careful it will be taken out on you. I would not recommend working here at least not Memorial Regional Va! You get faulted for calling out after your mom is admitted to hospital and one of their hospitals at that! Very unfair company and a lot of staff walk around complaining of management as well. Those who work get in trouble for working and those who were there longer get a pass. I have seen co workers many times mess up and nothing was reported on them. I have seen at least 6 people quit or either get hired and leave within 2 days of being hired. That says a lot about management. I have been in medical field over 20 yrs never seen a hospital ran like this. Haven't been there long and I already set up interviews with VCU and more. It seems like a hostile work environment. And you sometimes have to tiptoe around certain people. Management is not trusted! Let alone they do not know how to talk to their employees, can be very condescending. Being a Christian hospital is opposite of what management shows!
