Pros

A very diverse place, focused on doing the right thing. Keeping human and customer centricity as its guiding principles, the values are not plastered on the wall but lived and experienced with each booking colleague. You have the opportunity to learn and discover something new each day.

Cons

You have to be self-motivated and open to self-learning. At times, you may feel that you are alone and that there is too much information thrown your way; navigating through it may be challenging.

Pros

Working at Booking.com is an unique experience. It's a truly diverse environment, where inclusion and diversity makes a real difference in every day life. We apply a learning mindset and foster a culture of personal development in many different ways. Booking.com puts the employee at the center of its decision, with wellbeing programs and a range of benefit which support the employees life-balance.

Cons

As company, Booking.com could do much better in terms of career progression. Especially outside of HQ (Amsterdam), it might be difficult to progress due to a flat organization and lack of local opportunities. In a world which is now more hybrid in terms of work environment, being more flexible in terms of location would benefit both the company and the employee's career development.

International environment, career opportunities and personal growth, advanced technology and tooling, very competitive compensation package, open, inclusive and social atmosphere, being challenged to be innovative and creative, experimenting culture

Cons

It can sometimes be difficult to get things done, due to resource allocation/sharing and the sheer size of the organisation
