      World's toughest problems are on the agenda Assessment processes are fair There is room to make your own IC, no dogmatic set standards Little quarter-to-quarter pressure to make the numbers as in public companies Well respected in the greater Washington area Tries to do the right thing by clients and staff and acheives balance in doing so No hints of corruption, self dealing, or war profiterring Flebility to pursue outside interests (e.g., political campaigns) Not partisan

      Your co-workers - consistently, across the board, they are helpful, considerate and enthusiastic.

      Cons

      One's experience of Booz Allen is extremely dependent on one's Dept (or Team) and Project. My projects had great work-life balances (40 hrs/wk and no more) and others were up until 3am. I know of a few folks who weren't promoted because then the Project Manager refused to replace them. Also, your ability to be placed on interesting projects is dependent on your manager's network - if they don't have contacts, then it's much harder for you to move. If you work in the DC area, they only allow networking events in McLean, VA so folks in other offices or on-site tend to feel isolated.
