Pros
Lots of bright, motivated co-workers (I worked in org development for government projects). The teams are highly structured and annual reviews are intense, but they make job expectations clear. Projects range and can be very interesting. There are many opportunities to network and offer your services, which can help you build a reputation and advance.
Cons
It's a very large company and, even with the team's structure, it can be easy to get lost in the crowd (especially if you aren't an extrovert or proactive with networking). Though they say that employee care is a value, you are expected to be available for late nights, weekends, and even holidays to get a project completed. Project pacing can be unpredictable, so you have a hard time being predictable to family and friends.
