      Pros

      I enjoyed working at BW, it was challenging and has a family environment. It’s a work hard and play harder kind of environment as well as rewarding. I learnt a lot about the industry and they train and develop staff well.

      Cons

      Not a family friendly company, no flexible working or reduced hour contracts. If you have a young family and want a work life balance this is difficult to achieve whilst working at BW. 40 hour working week plus travel abroad. Traveling abroad does not count towards working week hours, means you barely see your family or have time for your own health. At some point or another you will burn out.

      BorgWarner is a very good company. Its powertrain technology is advanced.

      Cons

      The business associated with traditional combustion engine may be impacted by development of electric vehicle. However, the company is making up by developing electrification.
