Plant closed due to becoming non-competitive. This could have been addressed years earlier by not having a management willing to capitulate to the union to maintain production.

Some of the shifts are very long and pretty brutal making for a poor quality of life outside of work. If you have a family life it is hard to balance both work and family with some of the shifts. It seems as though there is not much supervising going on and some employees take advantage of this, not doing work and slacking off and making it frustrating for others and this can be very stressful at times.
