smart and friendly people, helpful supervisors, flexible time, good benifits, help with immigration, palo alto, next to the sillicon valley

Cons

the german bureaucracy, almost everyone has a ph.d it can be intimidating, small office, headquarter is not in the US

Low pressure research jobs good for retirement but atrocious for career advancement.

Pros

Job is less high pressure than other jobs that pay comparably. Time is given for associates to develop their own projects.

Cons

Unless you are German or at least European, forget about career advancement if you are in any wing of corporate research. I have seen a lot of things that were morally not above-board happen at the research center that I worked at - you just had to look the other way if you wanted to be a "good" employee.

OK for a couple of years, but if you're looking for a career not in Management, not worth it to stay

Pros

Bosch is a big company and definitely a good place to work if you want to kick-start a career.

Cons

I dont feel that Management is there to grow the team, but rather to keep everyone's potentials and salaries at a minimum. If people dont get promoted within 3 years, they should leave. The leadership style is old and not adjusting to the changing working environments in America. Everything seems to be stuck in the 70s and 80s as far as thinking, change and Management style goes. New Management is coming in, but their ideas do not include teams or career advancements.
