Bosch - A conservative company with good management, good job security and OK salary

Pros

The reason I joined Bosch was the opportunity to work on interesting topics in their Corporate Research department. For the most part the management in this department is competent, forward thinking and supportive of good ideas. Another plus is the high job security.

Cons

Bosch is a large company and that means a relatively large bureaucracy. Salary and benefits are low for the Bay Area. Local management has only limited autonomy in many important decisions including salary.
