Pros

You get to work with very, very smart people. Unrivaled HR support related to diversity, benefits and life events.

Cons

An extreme pressure to perform within the boundaries of what your manager thinks is ok, no real relation of client value delivered vs. project performance

Pros

learning happens very fast, especially in the first couple of years if you start from the junior positions (i.e. Associate)

Cons

very long hours, it can get quite hierarchical and therefore demanding on your nerves

Pros

The firm keeps its culture despite the large size. The projects are interesting, really top-of agenda, for top-tier clients. Has been growing faster than competitors.

Cons

The work hours are usually long. Consultants feel the pressure from bosses and clients, as stakes and expectations are always high. Tendency to "reinvent the wheel" in every project. that leads to increased hours and pressure.
