The most challenging place

Pros

Working exclusively with very intelligent people in complex problems with clients from diverse industries. Counterparties are very senior people (you get to be in front of a blue-chip CEO in your first year)

Cons

There is no such a thing as work life balance. The most difficult part is that your personal lifestyle changes with every project

Pros

learning happens very fast, especially in the first couple of years if you start from the junior positions (i.e. Associate)

Cons

very long hours, it can get quite hierarchical and therefore demanding on your nerves

Pros

Expose to a great deal of industry knowledge and F500 companies. Under pressure and tight timeline, you got to challenge your potential all the time.

Cons

Sometimes work for 100 hours a week (70-80 on average), but salary is not justified as Assocate.
