Pros

Opportunities are seemingly endless, coupled with an abundance of support and resources. Fast-paced, intellectually stimulating and culturally diverse work environment. BCG's values clearly show in how they treat their employees, from compensation to the amazing benefits package.

Cons

With any global organization, it isn't always a "9 to 5" job. You might find yourself on calls or in meeting outside of typical working hours due to time zone differences, etc.

Pros

The Project Leader role is very challenging as you're at the crux of the organization, managing both down (new post-BA and post-MBA contributors) and up (the partners who sold the case).

Cons

Long hours are expected as are (depending on the office & your area of expertise) long travel commitments. It can also be depressing to work exclusively with mature companies that are trying to hold on to old advantages, wring more revenue out of existing clients, or just decline slower.
