Pros

The place is huge! It's an incredible size and the total workforce is bigger than most small towns in Ireland! The pay is fair, there's definitely better out there but it's not bad. There are some real decent souls working here, will try help you out if they can.

Cons

A poor work-life balance, way too much work and not enough people. Pulled into an annoying amount of evening and weekend work at short notice. Project management seems to be all over the place. Using multiple project management tools and none of them are all that effective. Bit of a bait and switch going on, Hired in as a Software Engineer but become a bit of a dog's body for whatever management demands. Also the majority of systems are written in old crappy vb6 code. Can't wait to get out of here. Your experience may differ.

Projects always seem to be too big for the deadline which then needs to be dialed back or the deadline moved
