Pros
Has it all - Good people, good career opportunities, international offices, customer facing roles, good benefits, working from anywhere. Think about the fact we spend at least 8 hours a day at work, isn't cultural fit one of the most important things? Box does have amazing people and takes hiring very seriously (hence why the process is quite extensive). Honestly it is worth it! Once you are in, you can see why people love working here and why it is so hard to leave. There is lots of community initiatives, people are always looking to help out, and the dynamic between offices is quite good when it comes to working together. At least here in London we have a very European community and we are very united by it. You definitely get what you put in! In terms of career development, it takes a bit of time to get it sorted but a good relationship with your manager, and networking (like everything) should does the trick. There's a lot of options to use your time wisely, a lot of benefits which come with education such as Udemy and Modern Health, so you can always keep developing yourself in your own time.
Cons
Career development like everywhere, it is quite a push and it happens ONLY once a year. It does mean that sometimes we lose talent because of it A lot of the global meetings are based on PST - which makes it quite challenging. However, work/life balance is quite good, so when these occur you can always take some time back
