Pros

BoxLunch Pros: Internal ladder system: Within a year, I went from Sales Associate to Key Holder to (PT) Assistant Manager (transfer to new location). Relaxed dress standards Often the regulars are kind & entertaining to engage with HotTopic offers great benefits for management postions We help give back to the community through our partnership with Feeding America

Cons

It can be hard to move up within the same location, often you will only be considered for promotions from sales if you inquire initially. (From management perspective, it can be hard to tell who wants to move up or who just wants a weekend job when in a college area like I was.) It can be hard to get days off during comic/pop-culture conventions
