Pros

Great chance to document quality assurances to ship a good product and get exposure as a person

Cons

Understaffed should be a dept. of 5. Management doesn't want to resource what it takes to ship a good product. Expect to only be in the position less than a year. Position has been opened 4 times in the past three years.

Pros

Flexible hours, loyal customers, the product was the best on the market, the management in the Elkhart location was wonderful. When it was LTi/ LTi Flexible Products it was the VERY best job one could have with outstanding management. It was truly a family atmosphere, where people cared about each other & would work hard for one another. We flourished & business was great. Customers loved us & our product.

Cons

Boyd's Corporate Management out of Modesto, California took over. They made so many foolish decisions in an attempt to save money and unfortunately, the Elkhart location is being punished severely. They opted to get rid of Boyd Delivery trucks and outsourced deliveries, which equaled drivers that didn't care about the customer or product. Boyd Corporate made the brilliant decision to rid themselves of their outside sales reps (again an attempt to save money on overhead). They sent the sales reps to work for the competition under the agreement that Boyd and the competitor would work together as a united front with the former Boyd reps & they would sell Boyd parts. This decision was proven disastrous & business is suffering. Now Boyd Corporate is begging the reps they fired to come back and work for them, but the reps can't because they were forced to sign a non-compete with the competitors.
