Most of all- people CARE. You will want to come into work everyday and know that you are working with smart, driven people who are building awesome products. It is insanely inspiring. You are given the chance to sink your teeth in whatever interests you. Work/life balance is truly respected. They understand employee's needs and wants and reward you for hard work. You are given the chance to dig your hands in whatever interests you.

Cons

PayPal bureaucracy can creep in from time to time and drive you crazy. We're growing- there's a lot of work!

Pros

Teammates are smart and motivated. Constant collaboration across projects; always opportunities to learn and get better at your job. They don't explicitly look for candidates with background in the payments industry, so there is a lot diversity in professional backgrounds.

Cons

It's a fast paced environment, so there are a lot of temporary fixes that will inevitably break.
