Pros

There are a lot of other people to work and interact with. The work environment is friendly and generally positive. The pay is decent but you will work long hours depending on your position.

Cons

Good training program but it is very dull and can be boring. The duties and assignments throughout the day become repetitive and monotonous. The hours can be very long but you do get paid overtime.

Good Company

Pros

Good people that are very welcoming and friendly all around. People generally want to see the company do well and they will take time to help you when you need it. The company has grown a lot recently which has created new opportunities that didn't exist previously. The office is very laid back and you can come and go as you please. Schedules and dress code are very casual which is a nice perk.

Cons

Like most consultants, they put an emphasis on the percentage of your time that is billable. They are much more reasonable than other consultants in the industry, in that, they give you a lot of leeway. If you are not meeting your billable goal, you will have to meet with your manager to explain why. Sometimes, they lose focus on teaching because they want you to be more billable. Growth of the company has created a lot of pains. In many ways, Braun still behaves like a small, local geo-consultant instead of a 1,000 person, $100M firm. They lack the functional sophistication of a ENR top 100 firm, which they are. Managers are very busy and sometimes don't have time to interact with younger staff. Most of them have their doors shut while they are working and it can be difficult to get a meeting on their calendar unless it's for a project they're working on.

Pros

The people are wonderful you can feel the team spirit and client dedication in all locations and services. We get it done together.

Cons

With significant growth, the company administrative infrastructure needs to be improved. This is underway but there are still bumps in the road.
