Pros

No one really ever knows whats going on so you pretty much get away with whatever you want. Thanks to the internal staff, directors, and HR you always know whats going on. Nothing is confidential. They supply you with enough wine and beer to almost make it worth it.

Cons

They really could careless about employees regardless of the initial facade upon being hired. Even that is a joke. Very unprofessional in certain aspects and messy. If you arent making them money, they dont have time for you; even as a consultant waiting to be placed to do so. Its hard to know if the partners even know what really goes on because they cant be bothered or if they even care. I was told by another employee upon being hired "not to ever question or complain about anything. " That should have been a red flag in itself. Long-term stability and dedication mean nothing.

Pros

Family-feel atmosphere (albeit dysfunctional at times).

Cons

Lack of oversight; some senior management is self-important without adequate management effort / contribution.

Pros

Bridgepoint is the best of all worlds. I see a very diverse group of clients and am able to lead projects as well as pitch in when my skill set can be utilized. Everyone works really well together on our team and the partners will support you in any way they can. There is a culture of personal responsibility and teamwork. Everyone has the opportunity to contribute to projects and management is open about company goals and challenges. Bridgepoint has an ever-expanding list of customers and has great relationships throughout Austin and the state of Texas. The company is well respected by a lot of high profile names and this opens doors to new projects.

Cons

Client expectations--This is consulting, so usually and gaps in expectations can resolved through clear communication. It's just part of the job and just something that has to be managed. The partners are serious about helping the consultants to manage the clients expecations where needed to make sure the consultants are treated well by the clients.
