Great for Students, if you can swallow the culture.

Pros

Management is more than willing to work with your class schedule and wants you to prioritize your education over work hours. It's incredibly flexible and a very low-stress environment. Pay doesn't start amazing but raises are consistent and stack up. Interviewing was painless and the "audition process" was a non-issue.

Cons

Employment carries the downsides of the college culture as a whole. Woefully homogeneous student body, religious angles and expectations at nearly every opportunity, and a requirement to "mask" yourself if you disagree or conflict with these values for job security.

Pros

It is so chill and a great place to learn and grow. The IT Surplus department is incredible. The team was great and supportive. I learned so much and completely changed my plans for my future career because of this. I feel like this job did more for my education and growth than my major did.

Cons

Pay isn't great and they are so stingy with full time positions because they don't want to give benefits. Upper management liked to screw over our department. It is definitely a bureaucracy with all of the frustration typically associated with that term.
