If an employee feels that there is no avenue for such with their immediate supervisor, they are encouraged to speak with the next level up, all the way up to the CEO. Inappropriate behavior is not tolerated at BrightSign and our employee handbook clearly spells out what is and is not appropriate at work. Employees are encouraged to speak with management about anything they feel is inappropriate, with the assurance that their input will remain anonymous. While several BrightSign employees have worked together at previous companies, nepotism is not the norm at BrightSign. We are an equal opportunity employer. With regards to upward mobility, there have been several employees successfully promoted within the same department and cross-departmentally throughout the Company. We do our best to encourage and promote individuals who work hard and want upward mobility. With regard to compensation, our CEO and CFO review each employee’s performance and total compensation against the Radford Global Technology Salary Survey every six months. Compensation increases are given regularly to ensure employees are paid competitive market rates for the area in which they live. BrightSign has one of the highest levels of shared profit – 25% of the company’s annual profit is put back into the pool for employee profit sharing. Profit sharing is paid in cash to employees each quarter.
