Iam fortunate to work in a home providing services to three wonderful people; which makes my job bearable.

Cons

Poor management, terrible pay even as compared to other local providers 60 plus hr weeks with no overtime.I always have the feeling that mgmt is working against us in the smallest of details.The absolute worst part is that the people working in our office not only treat thecaregiver like crap,they also care not a bit for those we serve.Icannot believe this place is still in business.

Res-Care can make new jobs for new people that we dont need but we cant get no more money no bouns or nothing...........

Abode, which is part of BrightSpring Health Services, has a positive impact on every community they serve. There is a relaxed, yet professional, atmosphere. Most employees give 200%, and strive to deliver top-quality care. A sense of camaraderie, cooperation, and empowerment exists. Although there is healthy competition between teams, it is without any spiteful backstabbing. When employees face challenges such as accidents, illnesses, or personal tragedies, the company responds with kindness and understanding.

Cons

The healthcare benefits packages are poor in comparison to other companies this size. The deductibles are too high and the coverage is too low for the amount paid by the employee. Open positions would be much more attractive to other healthcare professionals if the benefits were comparable.
