Pros

The name of the company says it all; Brightview offers a warm, friendly, positive and uplifting environment. It's a "Feel Good" job in that our daily tasks involve the care, support, engagement and overall well being of our residents who live in the communities. In the building in which I work, our staff works together to make the environment work to its greatest potential and we've only excelled in this since I was originally hired going on almost 3 years ago. Brightview has made a point of also rewarding employees for their accomplishments and their sense of purpose concerning their specific job which is wonderful. I would highly recommend working for Brightview!

Cons

As of the moment, I can't think of a con or negative reason why I would not recommend this company.

Pros

They see the value and relationship between employee satisfaction and resident care, happiness, health and resiliency. They find and promote talent and genuinely good people. It's not easy to 'get in' but what a true blessing it is to find an organization that 'gets it'.

Cons

It's not easy to get hired - the interview process is lengthy; however, the benefit is directly for the residents and employees.

Pros

Many. Not the best, but certainly not the worst company to work for. Yes it is a job, you have to work, be on time, follow simple rules. I know hard for many.

Cons

Upper management out of touch with what is happening in communities. Some EX. have their favorites Associates, and policies are not being applied with consistency. Some associates whine all the time and they should look into moving along. Some communities have associates glued to their cell phone while on the floor, nothing done. Too much gossip among Associates.
