Pros

work environment is healthy...People in general are helpful but you do come across some odd ones...

Cons

good people are leaving as competitors are scooping them up... couple of bad acquisitions by the company management which has hurt company bad...bay area salary is below par and probably primary reason for good people leaving the company left and right...there is no vacation policy (called as unlimited vacation) but most of the people are not able to take it at all as the higher ups don't encourage it....

Pros

* Medical, Vision, and Dental benefits are great. * Hours are nice if you can handle 12 hour shifts (3 day week, then 4 day week, repeat).

Cons

* Long-term employees are not appreciated. The pay is good when you start, but the raises are minimal (sometimes as low as 3%). The amount of people that quit is high, so they hire on at a higher pay each year. So, there are people who've worked here for years working for dollars less than new employees. * Management is varied, and highly based on favoritism. One supervisor will be completely hands off. Another supervisor will control every aspect of what their team does and when, and seem to enjoy the power trip. There's also in-between situations. It is luck of the draw. * You'll have opportunities for advancement, but expect more work and not more pay. Over the years they've made most options 'lateral moves'. No pay, and no training. You've either gotten your training from a previous company, or you know enough higher ups to get the position. * They have one HR person. They shuffle troublemakers around. Hope they don't get put in your area.

Pros

I worked for a company for 10 years that was bought by Broadcom. I have no pros to report. There was a mass exodus.

Cons

The company did not value employees as individuals. They adhered to policies that did not make sense, even when it had a serious negative impact on employees. There was zero attempt to foster work-life balance.
