Pros

RSUs are apparently fairly generous

Cons

The one and only concern is the share price; it should be an important, likely top priority, but should NOT be the only one. It is being run in very much a private equity model. RTO was decreed with no explicit reason given, indicating either complete lack of trust in employees or a desire to get people to quit without offering severance.

Cons

Working for Broadcom can present challenges, such as a highly competitive and high-pressure environment that may not suit everyone. Employees may experience strict project deadlines and intense workloads, which can lead to work-life balance difficulties. The company's focus on aggressive growth and acquisitions can sometimes result in organizational changes and uncertainties, potentially affecting job security and team dynamics. Additionally, the culture at Broadcom is often described as more traditional and hierarchical, which might limit opportunities for creative expression and innovation for some employees. Moreover, there are reports of less emphasis on employee benefits and perks compared to some other tech companies, which could impact overall job satisfaction.
