Cons
- Broadcom does not have great in-house R & D compared to peer semiconductor companies and has relied on acquisitions for growth.Many of these acquisitions have been disastrous. - Management decisions are driven by wall street and you can be fired anytime if wall street expectations are not met. - Micromanagement by managers in certain teams which creates artificial pressure on employees. - No team lunches or team outings but only work work work !!!! - Very hard to get recognition for good work. - No per-diem if travelling abroad. - Appraisal/Compensation revision happens once a year.
