Pros

There are no idiots here. Okay, there are a few but they are the rare exception. In general, there are a high caliper of coworkers. There is also an air of success around here. People feel like we build quality products that "win" in the marketplace. While they're not perfect, the senior management makes a genuine effort to look after the employees. Times when the employees have been short changed by circumstances, the senior management has done their best to compensate people for it.

Cons

Being on the cutting edge means that there are constant schedule demands.

Pros

Great employees - very experienced and informed. Reasonably flexible with policies and rules. Benefit package is very competive and reasonable generous.

Cons

Lots of management churn. Significant cultural shift from the days of 'Nick' to the currnent management. Business units are not very coordinated, in some ways it's almost like they operate as different companies. The HR department seems to be more concerned with pleasing the whims of senior managers and avoiding litigation than attending to the growth and development of the employees.
