      Interesting products and interesting people.

      Cons

      New CEO is purely focused on extracting money from the old BRCM. Quality is now a bad word since it costs money to deliver high quality.

      Great company to the worst in just a month after Avago Transition

      Pros

      Interesting work and competitive work culture. Employees are friendly and help new employees to feel comfortable at work. Decent tools and lab equipment.

      Cons

      Poor people management and weak managers. After Avago transition, its complete chaos, especially from the Immigration perspective. Management corners employees by waiting till the last moment to address Immigration issues.

      Pros

      At Broadcom engineers are exposed to a wide range of interesting technical problems. It is a great place to learn and grow technically, especially for more junior engineers. Additionally, the IT infrastructure and lab equipment are truly excellent.

      Cons

      Broadcom feels like a very large company. Things happen slowly. There is a large amount of inefficiency associated with empire-building by managers. Managers get promoted based on how many people report to them. This is a formula for creating inefficiency.
